Scripture: Romans 8:28
Regardless of who holds the highest office in the United States, we can be certain that things will get darker rather than brighter before Christ returns. Opportunities to compromise our faith will abound. Each day, we will wake up in a ‘Babylon’ surrounded by a culture all too friendly with decadence, and immorality. And how will we walk out the day-to-day tasks and encourage our loved ones to keep moving forward? Throughout the nation we observe varying degrees of compromise and darkness. Some are moving their families from states steeped in darkness and others will stand and be a plumbline in just such a place! Just as the Jews in exile did each and every day of their lives, first we must get up each day and declare that Christ is the Lord and King over our lives! The key for victory is in our relationship 8 with God. In the safety of the secret place of the Most High we learn to connect with the Holy Spirit, to listen, to surrender and to obey. During each day, our love and knowledge of the Word provides the needed wisdom to navigate victoriously.
