Wisdom is something we all need and we know true wisdom comes from God. Did Bill Bright and Loren Cunningham hear from God? The witness of the Spirit is that they did. The first major mountain that they mentioned that had to be impacted was the church. We look at the church today and ask ourselves is the church better off today than it was back 43 years ago. 43 years ago no one was ordaining homosexual priests. We did not have the blatant apostasy that exists today! When people support abortion and think they are Christians, it is amazing! It seems that almost half the church is either apostate or headed in that direction. It is pretty obvious when it comes to church that it is much worse off today. Back then we didn’t have the compromise of the grace message leading to the belief in universal salvation. The church has been assaulted and is much further from God now than it was 43 years ago. That is undeniable and any wise, mature believer that lived through this time span would have to agree. There is a lot of work to do just in the church.
