THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 25
Scripture: Jeremiah 30:16-18

God sent a destroyer into Israel and the people ended up going as captives into Babylon. In that place the cancer was removed. Jeremiah then declared restoration, health and healing. Verses 16-18 state, “‘Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; And all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; Those who plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you I will make a prey. For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.”’ Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; The city shall be built upon its own mound, And the palace shall remain according to its own plan.’” These verses are encouraging. God says He will devour those who are devouring and those who plunder He shall plunder. He says He will restore and heal the wounds. Is there help and healing for America? Yes, if we can pray judgment on those adversaries who are filling the land with iniquity, the nation will be restored to health. It is time we began to take our assignment seriously concerning the health of the nation. It is not just our individual health that we are after. Our individual health is also bound up in the health of the nation. We have a responsibility for the health of the land. That means we pray the ‘cancerous’ offenders into the judgment of God! The only way to save the nation is to pray judgment on the perpetrators.
