TUESDAY, JUNE 9
Scripture: Mark 10:43-45

Jesus made it clear that subduing or tyrannizing would not work in His Kingdom. He demanded that it not be so. And He went on to say, “…Whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Jesus made it very clear – we serve other people. We bless them, we lay our life down for them and we pay the price to help them get where they need to go in Christ. If we are willing to serve, then we will hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” And it is the only way we will hear it! May all who read and study with us one day hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
