SATURDAY, APRIL 30
Scripture: Acts 12:1-6,23

Where did the early church swing the sword? They first swung it at the religious system. Secondly they swung it against rebellious people in their midst and third, they had to swing it at government. Each time they swung the sword, they prayed a judicial prayer. Swinging the spiritual sword has nothing to do with swinging a physical sword. It has everything to do with praying a judicial prayer and bringing the sword of God’s Hand against individuals hopefully for their repentance and if they refuse to repent then for facing utter and total destruction. Exercising authority against evil was the call and they stood up to it. When it comes to matching generation with generation, how will our generation match up with the one who started the church? I hear individuals all the time praying and asking for the double anointing for the end-time church. Do we have the character to carry the double anointing?
