May 2011 Outcry

America continues to self-destruct at a rapid rate emboldened by the perennial election of leftist politicians. California continues its avant-garde promotion of perversion, now mandating that textbooks in grade school and above promote homosexual and transgender role models for our children through the teaching of their so-called histories. What Barack Obama is supporting through his abandonment of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), California is now mandating!

The church, like Esther has chosen initial silence towards what promises to bring an escalating dramatic rebuke from heaven. When the worst tornadoes in a hundred years devastate whole sections of the nation our politicians propagate global warming as the cause, when the more likely reason is the fullness of iniquity resulting from mandating the acceptance and promotion of perverse lifestyles.

Esther was faced with the potential loss of everything up to and including her life, if she were to speak out against the policies of the political forces that ruled her nation. Esther 4:14 records Mordecai’s provocative proclamation, saying: “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Have we come to the Kingdom for such a time as this? When radical muslims threaten church leaders with a fatwa – Worthy of Death – proclamation, should we turn the other cheek, or should we ask God to covenantally bring on them what they seek to bring upon us? When practitioners of perversion seek to subvert the minds of our children, do we remain silent for fear of being branded bigots, or do we speak up and call forth covenant judgment! I’m sure Peter and Paul would not have hesitated to bring the full weight of the Judicial Throne upon their adversaries.

A friend I attend church with became acquainted with a church leader in exile because of a fatwa. The government of his nation recommended exile until things changed. My friend prayed a Davidic prayer asking God to execute covenantal justice. A few weeks after the prayer, the Imam who issued the fatwa was killed in a missile strike, and the government notified the church leader that it was now safe to return home.

For such a time as this, we have come to the Kingdom – God is waiting on us.
