SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10
Scripture: Acts 20:25-27

This passage says, “And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more. Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.” In this account Paul was saying farewell to the Ephesian elders and he was telling them his condition, position and stance before God. He declared that his hands were innocent of the blood of all men. There was no record in heaven of his participation in the murder of Stephen. Gone, wiped away…that was another man. Paul was released to walk in complete and total freedom because of a process. And through God’s messages to us via Paul’s New Testament Epistles, God is shining His light on the way toward freedom for all of us. We are not only free from sin, but we are now no longer the guilty party. The guilty party was our old man. God has transformed us into a new person, now guiltless before God! If Paul can say that, why can’t you and I say that. It should be a key component in walking and living as sons and daughters of our mighty God! The question should be not, can I say that but will I say that.
