Scripture: Matthew 3:7-8
Verses 7-8 declare, “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,…” Metanoia demands a change of mind. What does that fruit look like? It looks like confidence before God. Confidence comes from the assurance of a heart that has a complete absence of blame, shame and guilt because our sin is completely remitted, through the power of the Blood of the eternal Christ. It literally enables us to develop the same quality of relationship with the Father that Jesus had. That is a metamorphosis that is going on in our spirit and soul and eventually will affect our body. God graced Israel with it and now He is doing it for the church in the last days. Being God’s end-time witnesses demands this transformation!
