Scripture: Matthew 1:7-8

Matthew 1:7-8 say, “Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa.. Asa begot Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah.” There is one thing we have discovered in the lineage of Christ and that is that there are no perfect people. Solomon was amazingly gifted. He asked for wisdom to shepherd Israel and became the wisest man ever, the wealthiest man ever. Just like us, they all had faults and failures. And they all had to believe God to be redeemed by covenant Blood. God was faithful to them in their generation and will be to us too! That is the one thread we all have in common. We all share similar issues. David and Bathsheba had to trust God to redeem their failures. Isn’t it time that we said yes to the power of the Blood? It is time to get ready for the greatest harvest the earth has ever seen. Our greatest days are ahead. That means we have to believe that we are blameless so that we can stand fearless for Christ! As believers we can surge forward in God-confidence and fearlessness because we are leaning on Him every step of the way!
