Scripture: Mark 10:32

Mark 10:32 says, “Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them; and they were amazed. And as they followed they were afraid. Then He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that would happen to Him.” The disciples were clearly afraid of what was about to happen or what was coming. Sometimes fear of the unknown itself is paralyzing. That is something that we have to overcome because we are going to have to walk through it one way or the other. If it’s in our future we’re going to have to walk through it, and we need the grace of God to do that so we need to overcome fear. At the minimum, we can ask, ‘Lord, show us what is in our future and what You have ordained for us. Let us see what we are going to have to walk through. Lord, show us and start preparing us now.’ Now is the time to ask!
