Scripture: Psalm 139:1-6 NKJV, MSG

Psalm 139:1-6 says, “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.” The Lord searches us, He knows us, and He hedges us behind and before. He puts His hand on us so we may know Him for how great He really is. The Message version says, “You are too much for me. Your wisdom is high I can’t take it all in.” You are just too much God! And God shows Himself as the God of too much in various places in Scripture. He is too much of a Provider. He is too much at different moments. And there is a pattern how too much begins to come at certain times and certain seasons. As we get to know that pattern, we can set ourselves in faith to walk it out.
