Scripture: Numbers 14:20-24

Numbers 14:20-24 says, “Then the Lord said: ‘I have pardoned, according to your word; but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord—because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.’” The same was true for Joshua. Joshua saw it and Caleb saw it but none of the other men did. Unbelief is costly and can shorten our lives. Just like faith can extend our lives, unbelief can shorten the number of our years. All these things are written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world have come. These are examples from which we need to learn. And if we learn the lessons well, we will choose to develop our faith and believe God in order to bring in an end-time harvest. One key purpose of walking in faith and believing God is so that you and I can obey God’s Word and we can be vessels to bring in a harvest of souls for whom Jesus died. God will have His harvest, and we participate as agents that bring it to pass.
