Scripture: Ephesians 1:11-23, Acts 2:36

In Ephesians 1:11-23, we have the first prayer of Paul for fullness. We are told in verses 22,23, “And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” It is obvious that we have another dimension of fullness which begins to dominate in the last days and that is the fullness of Christ that should be operational in the church. Acts 2:36 describes the fullness of Christ as both the Priestly and the Kingly moving together. Does today’s Body of Christ represent the Judicial King? Have we achieved it? It is certainly a focus in the book of Ephesians, so we know that day is coming and we can certainly expect it. Fullness of Christ is a real issue. It is our destiny and we should all embrace it, prepare for it and call it forth. Let’s study to show ourselves approved, workmen that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth!
