Scripture: Revelation 5:7-9, Ezekiel 13:19

In verses seven through nine we discover Who Jesus is. He is worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals which He does. Jesus, the Son, is the Judge of all the earth and the Son makes us Kings and Priests in the earth so that we can be His agents of judgment in the earth. That is His purpose. That is His plan and that is what He is doing. The question is, are we going to walk with Him in it? This next year can be an awesome one if we include in it the signing on to God’s purpose of praying judgment on the wicked. Ezekiel 13:19 indicates God knows the names of those that, if prayed into judgment, extend the life of the righteous. It says, “And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?” If we refuse to pray judgment, is it possible we can both shorten the life of the righteous and extend the life of the wicked?
