MONDAY, DECEMBER 14
Scripture: 2 Peter 3:11-13

Verses 11-13 says, “Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” What manner of persons ought we to be? Our first responsibility is holy conduct, or godliness. We know that we can hasten the coming of the Lord and we know we can prolong it. Are we believing to populate the new heavens and the new earth with the fullness of God’s harvest? That is what we are after and we do have something important to contribute to that process. And God looks for our participation in this assignment.
