WEDNESDAY, JULY 29
Scripture: Exodus 14:8-20

When Pharaoh regretted his release of the Israelites, he pursued them with his entire army. Just as he got close to destroying them, the Lord stepped in with a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. And they were saved. God had a plan and He was not through with Pharaoh yet. Judgment is never easy to walk out as representatives of the Most High because we have to believe that God has our best interests at heart. The Israelites were sure they were going to be destroyed. But God turned the tables and destroyed their enemy. It takes the wisdom of God to pastor people through the judicial both in what to pray and in the why of severity!
