Scripture: Matthew 10:41,42

James and John, through selfish ambition, created strife within the group. Walking worthy of the call means we have to abandon selfish ambition and only pursue that which God calls us to do. James and John went beyond what the Lord called them to do into position-seeking. And that rightly offended the rest of the apostles. I trust you and I will say no to self and walk worthy of what we are called to do. And that means, allowing the Lord to show us what we are called to do and paying the price simply to do it, without personal/individual kingdom building. Obeying God has an eternal reward that we can enjoy forever!
