Scripture: Jeremiah 48:10

Jeremiah 48:10 says, “Cursed is he who does the work of the Lord deceitfully, And cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood.” Jeremiah understood what God was looking for. There is no room for deceit in the work of the Lord. We are called to do it and be straight about it. Secondly, when it comes to swinging the sword over evil, we cannot hold back. Anyone who refuses to swing the sword in prayer at the Spirit’s directive over jihadists is cursed. God is a God of judgment. If we do not do it, we are in trouble. It is very simple and straightforward. What are we going to do? We need to realize something about the Lord. He is a God of judgment. He swings the sword and commands us to pray it. We have to stand up and swing it ourselves in prayer. God is serious about arresting evil. Will we be as serious as He is? That is our choice.
