Scripture: Acts 19:9,23

Acts 19:9 says, “But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.” Verse 23 says, “And about that time there arose a great commotion about the Way.” The early church was called “the Way,” and a number of Bible versions use the whole term, “the way of the Lord.” If the early church was called the way of the Lord, it was called that because the way of the Lord is essential! The way of the Lord is a central truth of Scripture. Our God tells us to do righteousness so we can do judgment. It is Who He is and how He functions and operates. If we are going to represent Him in the last days, then we have to align ourselves with Him.
