Scripture: 2 Corinthians 2:14-17

Who is Jesus in 2 Corinthians chapter 2? Verses 14-17 tells us, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.” He always leads us in triumph, in Christ. And if we will let him, He diffuses the fragrance of his knowledge in every place. When Paul said no to promoting and profiting from the Gospel through manipulation, then God gave him the fullness of the Kingly anointing that caused him to triumph everywhere he went. That is Who Jesus wants to be to us if we will let him. That is Who he is in 2 Corinthians. He is our triumph. Will we let Him be triumph through us?
