Scripture: Isaiah 55:1-3

What all was God offering Solomon? Isaiah 55:1-3 says, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—The sure mercies of David.” The covenant that God made with David is part of the Theocratic covenants allowing God to rule through us is now available for every believer. We can enter and walk in the covenant that God made with both Abraham and David. Just imagine – what made David great? David said himself that God’s mercy had made him great. The covenant of Sure Mercy made David and his mighty men the greatest warriors that the earth had ever seen. Enemies could not kill them because God was on their side. God fought with them! The Indians who fought against George Washington said that no man could kill him. There were enemy bullet holes through his coat, but no man could kill him. So the same covenant that was operational in David’s life was obviously operational in Washington’s because he got the same results. God’s covenant is woven into the foundation of America. Therefore God’s covenant is the path to the destruction of the evil in our land and the saving of our land. God is a Covenant-Keeper and He is a Covenant-Maker. He still makes covenants with men today.
