MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15
Scripture: Revelation 2:24-27

Revelation 2:24-27 says, “Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’—as I also have received from My Father;…” But to the rest at Thyatira, who refused the doctrine of tolerance, ‘I will give you a Rod of Iron and you can rule with it.’ Now that is a promise worth possessing. Does God pass out a Rod of Iron? Based on this passage He certainly does. He brings them and He releases them into His mighty purposes? The purpose is so we can rule in the midst of the enemies around us. Even in Thyatira God had a group of believers deserving of Rods, who said no to the permissive culture of grace. Jesus has a group in this hour who will walk with Him and I trust we will be part of that group!
