MONDAY, JUNE 16
Scripture: Matthew 6:19-33

In Matthew 6:19-33, Jesus makes it very clear. He obligates Himself, by covenant, not only to take care of us but to ensure us that we have a Heavenly bank account. And if we have a Heavenly bank account, we can learn to live out of that account. We can do business out of that account. We can pray for the finances or equipment we need and expect a transfer from that account. But this is an operation that we do by faith and it has steps. It has very important steps. It is not an issue of praying something that we desire, and asking God to fund our whims. It does not work that way. There is a process by which we make a withdrawal from our Heavenly account. And that process requires us to interact with our ‘banker,’ and our banker just happens to be God. Without getting to know our banker, we are definitely limiting our ability to make withdrawals. The first thing we have to do is, get to know our banker! We need to be on a first-name-basis and we have to be very comfortable talking to Him. He is on call 24/7 because we are on call for Him 24/7. Are we ready to pay the price to walk with the Ultimate Banker?
