Scripture: Amos 5:15

Amos 5:15 is a classic. It says, “Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate. It may be that the Lord God of hosts Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.” It is possible that we can help to save the remnant of the church or possibly our nation, if we will hate evil, love good and establish/pray for/stand for/believe for/acknowledge and call forth justice in the gate. This applies to the gate of both cities and nations. Any gate we find ourselves in involves a large group of people and is a place we can declare or call for justice. Establishing justice in the gate gives the remnant the opportunity or second chance to find the blessing and salvation of the Lord. Every believer who embraces Amos 5:15 can make a difference in their city, their state or their nation. Will we say yes to God so that we can make a difference?
