Scripture: Acts 20:28,29

Acts 20:28,29 says, “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.” Paul was making a statement, ‘If you are going to lead, lead!’ Jesus purchased people by His blood. But there are wolves out there and because of the standard Paul himself chose to live, the wolves could not come in. I trust that all of us will embrace the same standard because it will keep the wolves at bay. A standard of purity in finances is revealed as the benchmark that separates us from the wolves. If we are willing to walk without manipulation for money, I believe we will see some of the same miracles in these days. The apostolic anointing that Paul walked in kept the wolves at bay and I trust God will restore it to the point that it keeps the wolves at bay again. What if future Acts 5 events, like those of Ananias and Sapphira, come out of pulpits rather than pews?
