March 2013 Outcry

Matthew 24:11-14 says, “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”  Are nations witnessing the Gospel of the Kingdom where heaven rules in the affairs of men?

Malachi 3:1-5 describes what that looks like when it says, “’Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,’ Says the Lord of hosts. ‘But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the Lord, As in the days of old, As in former years. And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien— Because they do not fear Me,’ Says the Lord of hosts.”

Do we see heavenly manifestations of God being a swift witness against sorcerers, adulterers, perjurers, exploiters and rejecters?  Jesus was a swift witness against Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5.  He was a swift witness against Herod in Acts 12.  He was a swift witness against Elymas in Acts 13 and a swift witness against the seven sons of Sceva in Acts 19.

Where do we see Jesus today as a swift witness against in the nations?  The truth is the church does not think or believe in the terms of representing Jesus as a swift witness against.  We only think in terms of Jesus being a witness for healing, deliverance and blessing.  Jesus Himself proclaimed the proclamation of the Kingdom as a swift witness in the nations based on Malachi.  The terminology of Malachi describes the Judicial Christ as a swift witness against!

In Luke 18:1-8 Jesus challenged us to develop faith and a relationship with the Lord that represents the Judicial Christ.  The church is responsible for demonstrating Jesus as a swift witness against all those who love and practice a lie!  May God’s anointing arise on the church for just such a season because deception and lies really escalate in the last days!
