SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10
Scripture: Acts 11:27,28, Acts 21:10-14

In Acts 11:27,28 we are told, “And in these days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch. Then one of them, named Agabus, stood up and showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar.” Prophets warn about adversity that is coming. That is their job. We see it in the New Testament and see it throughout Scripture. Warning is Layer Three of God’s love and we need to listen to the prophets who bring it. Even Paul, in Acts 21 warned for three years that wolves were coming. They could not manifest while he was there, but once he left they showed up in force.
