MONDAY, DECEMBER 26
Scripture: Matthew 10:5-10

When Jesus sent out the Twelve, He told them where not to go. They could not go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. They could not go to the Gentiles, they could not go to the Samaritans. They had to go to covenant people. And, He promised to take care of them in route. But if they were not received, they were to go out into the street and declare a covenantal, biblical curse and release the judicial Hand of God on those people. Why have we taught verses 5-10 and left out the other? Why did we do that? The other is much more difficult. The other is judicial. We left it out because we do not have a paradigm for releasing God’s judicial Hand. David had it. The early church had it. Somehow we have been robbed of it. Tradition has made God’s Word of none affect!
