Scripture: Isaiah 33:10-14

We need to ask ourselves if we can live with the fire. Isaiah 33:10-14 states, “’Now I will rise’ says the LORD; ‘Now I will be exalted, Now I will lift Myself up. You shall conceive chaff, You shall bring forth stubble; Your breath, as fire, shall devour you. And the people shall be like the burnings of lime; Like thorns cut up they shall be burned in the fire. Hear, you who are afar off, what I have done; And you who are near, acknowledge My might. The sinners in Zion are afraid; Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites: Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?’” As God comes to purify His people in the last days, we need to realize that we are going to be living in a season of fire. That judicial fire is not only going to expose even the hidden things of the heart, it is going to demand that changes be made. For those who refuse to make changes, “…The fear of the Lord is coming back to the church.” Verse 14 says, “The sinners in Zion are afraid; Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites.” I would like to see fearfulness seize church leaders. I would like to see fearfulness seize the government leaders. I would like to see fearfulness seize heads of nations throughout the world. May the fear of the Lord be restored!
