Scripture: Psalms 2:6-9

As we look at the progression between this conflict of rulers, we find out that it is our job not only to ask for the inheritance for which Jesus died, but to deal with the resistance. Every area of resistance must encounter the rod of iron. Only verse 9 does not say God will break them with a rod of iron, it does not say God will dash them into pieces like a potter’s vessel. It says you and I have to do that part. It says you and I have to speak to the mountain. You and I have to bring the rod out and strike the offenders, spiritually speaking, by praying God’s baw-hal, by praying God will speak to them in His wrath and distress them in His deep displeasure. It is our prayer that brings the action! Are we praying that way or are we still nicer than God? It is time to pray the full measure of God’s Hand and that He will thoroughly terrorize every ruler who chooses to stand against the living God. When the church rises up in this dimension, I suspect we will see God’s Hand upon our leaders in an entirely different way.
