SUNDAY, MARCH 6
Scripture: Colossians 2:11-13

Colossians 2:11-13 says, “In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,” is this a reality? Have we accepted the fullness of what Jesus has done for us? Have we said yes to the fullness of forgiveness in every area? The power of verses 11-13 position us, when we agree with it, to bring the triumph of God in every situation. In order to do what Paul did, we must be utterly free from condemnation. Now Paul had a past, his history was one of devastating the church. Yet he could say, “I know nothing against myself.” He is the one who stood there and orchestrated the death of Stephen. How could he say that he knew nothing against himself? Paul accepted the complete and total package of forgiveness in Christ through the Blood of the Lamb. He believed it, received it and acted on it! It is one of the first steps in renewing our mind. We have to accept the fullness of what Christ did for us.
