December 2010 Outcry

Why, in a time of war, do leaders want to disrupt and degrade the military by abolishing “don’t ask, don’t tell”? The founding fathers agreed that a nation at war needs God and dares not offend the Judge of all the Earth lest we lose the war. America’s God and Country reports just such an event faced George Washington. “On March 10, 1778, as recorded in The Writings of George Washington (March 1 through May 31, 1778, 11:83-84), published by the U.S. Government Printing Office, 1934), is the following incident:

At a General Court Martial whereof Colo. Tupper was President (10th March 1778), Lieutt. Enslin of Colo. Malcom’s Regiment [was] tried for attempting to commit sodomy, with John Monhort a soldier; Secondly, For Perjury in swearing to false accounts, [he was] found guilty of the charges exhibited against him, being breaches of 5th. Article 18th. Section of the Articles of War and [we] do sentence him to be dismiss’d [from] the service with infamy. His Excellency the Commander in Chief approves the sentence and with abhorrence and detestation of such infamous crimes orders Lieutt. Enslin to be drummed out of camp tomorrow morning by all the drummers and fifers in the Army never to return; The drummers and fifers [are] to attend on the Grand Parade at Guard mounting for that Purpose.

Romans 1:32 records God’s New Testament judgment not only on those who practice homosexuality but on those who approve of their practices. When the church chooses silence on an issue, they give tacit approval and deserve the same penalty as the perpetrators. Romans 1:32 says, “…who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

As I pray for political leaders who champion perversion, I am asking not only for a Romans 1:32 manifestation but an implementation of Psalms 28:4,5 until Romans 1 manifests. Psalms 28:4-5 states, “Give them according to their deeds, And according to the wickedness of their endeavors; Give them according to the work of their hands; Render to them what they deserve. Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, Nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them And not build them up.”

Please join me in praying verses 4 and 5 for every politician attempting to destroy “don’t ask, don’t tell!” I would not want to be in the military with openly homosexual men. Any politician who champions destruction in the military deserves to be cut off from the land!
