Scripture: Luke 4:6-8

In verses six and seven we discover, “And the devil said to Him, ‘all authority I will give You and their glory for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.’” The first and primary test to use this authority is overcoming the spirit of mammon. Mammon is how satan gains worship. If we can overcome the spirit of mammon, we can allow the Lord to rule in the realm of our finances. Victory in that realm gives access to the keys. If we do not, we will never see the keys in action. Jesus is looking for true worshippers and those are the ones who have already given Him their checkbook! I trust that is us!
