Scripture: Matthew 10:35-37

This passage says, “For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.” What a statement! Ultimately we have to prove to God that we are willing to endure the rejection of our family in order to be faithful to Him. I think each of us would say that when the sword falls on that line that this kind of dividing line is one very tough place. Obeying God will be the ultimate dividing line in the last days. The Lord baptizes us in the Holy Spirit and fire that may very well separate us from friends and family! The season of fire is here! Choose carefully.
