Scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:1-2

1 Corinthians 14:1-2 says, “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.” What if one of those mysteries that we’re praying about when we are praying in tongues is the mystery that runs all the way through Scripture from Genesis to James that deals with the wealth transfer and how that is to be executed. What if we are praying about the mysterious path and timing? It is entirely possible that tongues may well be the path to the wisdom that brings us the manifestation of what God consistently promises as an essential part of the end-time harvest of nations. Wouldn’t it be interesting to find that our Holy Spirit prayer language constructs the path? That is an exciting motivation for praying in tongues!
