Scripture: Luke 18:1-8

What does Jesus teach us in Luke 18:1-8? Basically, the very same thing King David prayed in his covenant of Sure Mercy. We can pray it, we can ask for justice and ask for covenant vengeance. We can ask God to judge the enemies and destroy them. King David lived his whole life that way. It is no wonder Jesus says in Revelation 22, “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David.” If we ever learn that, it is over for the enemy and our harvest is secured! I trust we are learning it and we are walking it out because it is the promise of the Kingdom. It is Old Testament, it is New Testament. It worked for David, it worked for Christ, it worked for Peter, it worked for Paul. Surely we must know it will work for us!
