Scripture: Daniel 11:34

There are many who might say, “The end-times are here and all these things are written, they are set and there is nothing we can do about it.” That seems to be a prevalent mindset concerning end-time prophecy. I think what that mindset misses is the power of the witnesses. Verse 34 indicates a measure of God’s intervention. It says, “Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help; but many shall join with them by intrigue.” “By intrigue” translates to ‘deceptive flattery.’ There is a reason the antichrist spirit continually uses flattery to gain entrance to places where it can do damage. If the nations in which we live have a prophetic destiny, then it is incumbent on every believer to pray God’s Judicial authority on the heads of those who are corrupting and taking the nation down a path where it does not belong.
