Scripture: Daniel 6:10-11
Just as Daniel did, we must take the time each day to take our worries and our needs before God in prayer, and worship Him with those same prayers. It was said of Daniel that it was his custom to pray to God and give thanks every day, and in this way the wise men of Babylon were able to craft their law specifically to entrap Daniel. When we are living in Babylon, we should thank God every day for what He has given us, and ask for sufficient strength to face the challenges which spring naturally from living in such a spiritual climate. Just like Nehemiah, let us be anointed volunteers in the day of the Lord’s power even if means using a hammer in one hand and our warring gear in the other.
