THURSDAY, MARCH 26
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:6-9, 1 Corinthians 14:2

In 1 Corinthians 2:6-9 we are told, “However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” God has prepared an inheritance for us. What has our inheritance been imparted through? It has come through wisdom, the wisdom of the Word, with the Holy Spirit as the Transmitter and the Divine Conduit. He speaks the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom. When we build a platform of praying in the Spirit into our lives, according to 1 Corinthians 14:2, what are we praying? It is very clear in Scripture. Here it says, “For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.” As we pray in this manner we are calling forth the mysteries of God. It is obvious Who is charged to reveal this. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to unveil our specific inheritance. That means we get to go on a trip with the Spirit of God. We are invited on a divine journey with the Spirit of God. That is what God intended. Our life is to be an unfolding of mysteries which God has ordained for us. The only way we possess them is by building our relationship with the Holy Spirit.
