Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:25-29

1 Corinthians 1:25-29 says, “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” God had a purpose in choosing us. He knew we were willing to walk in rejection. He knew we were willing to be faithful to Him while we experience the rejection of men. No matter how lowly our position, He honored us by choosing us for eternal life. We are His living witnesses, His living testimony and He chose us. That needs to settle in. That needs to penetrate our entire being, spirit, soul and body! The Mighty and Most High that flung the stars in space and hung the world upon nothing has singled you and I out for His own and He has a purpose for each of us! That should make us shout ‘Glory!’
