SATURDAY, DECEMBER 30
Scripture: 2 Kings 5:9-27

In 2 Kings 5 we see Elisha ministering to Naaman the Syrian. Elisha sent a messenger to Naaman with instructions in what he had to do to be healed. Naaman did not like the assignment. He saw the Jordan River as a dirty, stinky river and he wanted to go somewhere else. Naaman, however finally humbled himself and went to the Jordan and dipped seven times and was completely healed. Naaman returned to Elisha with a gift but Elisha refused to take it. According to the passage the gift was very substantial. Elisha refused to take it. He could not be bought. Elisha’s servant Gehazi on the other hand went after Naaman and he took a portion of what Elisha refused. His greed came at a great personal cost. The leprosy of Naaman clung to Gehazi. The dominion of God that comes to us, only that dominion can flow through us. Why does the church not know judgment – because we have not welcomed the full dominion of God to us? That is why! It is time that changed. Are we ready to connect with God’s dominion in us by building a more intimate connection with the Holy Spirit including praying in tongues? If we are going to be God’s Kingdom warriors in the last days, we have to get serious about this!
