Scripture: Hebrews 6:13-18

Hebrews 6:13-18 says, “For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, ‘Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is I’m possible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” We have confidence, what are we doing with it? Are we using it? Are we praying in tongues, are we faithful in our prayer assignments? We need to pray judicially as God directs and remember that judgment clears the way for salvation and for protecting the vulnerable and placing funds in the hands of those who seek God’s redemptive purposes. Asking God to remove funds from the hands of the wealthy-wicked are prayers of great mercy and grace. How cunning of the enemy to deceive believers and convince them that praying against someone or petitioning God to cut off the funds of another is not kind. Remember it is the kindness of the Lord that leads people to repentance and loss may very well be what works. In these cases the judicial may very well be the true kindness!
