Scripture: Mark 4:10-11

Mark 4:10-11 says, “But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. And He said to them, .To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,…’” Here we have an example of Jesus unfolding the mystery of the Kingdom and telling the disciples that everyone outside only receives parables. Jesus gave us a Helper and He has a purpose – to unfold the mysteries of the Kingdom. Are we using the gift of tongues? Are we walking it out every day? God intentionally gave us the gift of tongues. Why is there such division concerning tongues? The division is nothing but the enemy trying to rob us of God’s wisdom and understanding. When that happens the building up of the Kingdom suffers – when we do not pray in the Spirit, we do not receive the revelation we need to build the Kingdom. We have to understand that a major part of praying in tongues is obedience. The question is, will we humble ourselves and commit to do it?
