THURSDAY, APRIL 13
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:9-11

2 Corinthians 5:9-11 says, “Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.” When we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, what are we going to say about this issue? Have we diligently used God’s provision for connecting with His wisdom, His understanding and His power? Have we used His provision for stopping those who bring darkness and defilement on a family, a people or a land? Did we access the power that brings the fear of God? Did we access the power of the Holy Spirit or did we think it was optional and then get discouraged when we did not see any results? We are all going to stand before Christ one day so let’s use all God has for us for a victorious destiny. We should desire to stand fully prepared before Christ and face a joyous occasion. But preparing and walking in obedience is a choice. It is time we start consistently using our prayer language!
