Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 says, “Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” Before satan was thrown out of heaven, he was the worship leader until sin was found in him. He is driven to recapture his former position. He is driven to gain worship. He has chosen wealth and money as a vehicle and he uses it in an attempt to gain worship. When we choose not to have faith in God, we open ourselves up to manipulation and to giving satan worship through our deceived actions. There is a battle on in the realm of the Spirit for man’s worship. Will we walk in faith and make sure we give only Christ our worship in the last days?
