Scripture: John 1:1-3

John 1:1-3 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” When we are walking with Jesus, we are dealing with the Living Word. The Living Word is creative. There is creative power and creative authority in the Word of God. The Word of God will create what we need in the last days. We are dealing with a Word that it is alive – it is living and sharper than any two-edged sword. There is life in God’s Word and the key to a life of faith is knowing the Word. We cannot run an engine when we are out of gas and we cannot run our lives when we are low on the Word. If we try walking in faith when we are low on the Word, we will not be of much use for the Kingdom. The Word is fuel for the engine. We have to become people of the Word. It is absolutely essential and you and I must do it. Let’s commit to sow it in our hearts and lives, memorize it, speak it and fill our tanks for the distance!
