Scripture: Genesis 12:1-3

Genesis 12:1-3 says, “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” It is obvious that God is a Covenant-Maker and a Covenant-Keeper. He made covenant with Abram and in this covenant He promised all that He would do and then He laid down the foundation for biblical justice, “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you.” All biblical justice, from Genesis to Revelation follows this pattern. How the world treats God’s people is how God treats them. Those who vote to shed the blood of innocent babies, God says He will shed their blood. Those who turn Israel over to a nuclear-armed Iran are worthy of encountering nuclear weapons themselves. God is Covenant-Maker and a Covenant-Keeper and His justice is clear for all to see. If we do not want repercussions from what our nation is doing, then we have to repent and change! Otherwise we will face the justice of God.
