Scripture: Psalm 110:1,2

Psalm 110:1,2 says, “The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.’ The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!” Why sow Psalm 110:1,2 in our hearts? Because Psalm 110 represents the fullness of Christ in the Old Testament. He is both the King and the Priest. And we cannot gain the harvest that God has promised us unless we believe the Lord is going to make our enemies our footstool and know how to use the Rod of Iron. Just as Jesus covenanted with King David and anointed him, He will also do for us. He has given us the same covenant and will execute that covenant for us. Psalm 110 is the full picture of that process and we sow it because of the magnitude of what it promises.
