Scripture: Revelation 19:12-15

How does Jesus make war? It is obvious in verses 12-15, the crown is on His head, He has a robe dipped in blood and His name is called the Word of God. And out of His mouth comes a sharp sword, which is the Word. He uses the Word to strike the nations and strike the rebellious people. And it becomes a Rod of Iron by which He pastors. The Word of the Lord, in the mouth of Jesus, is how He wars. When we put the Word of the Lord in our mouth that is how we war. The prayer book of the Bible is the Psalms. The Davidic prayers are full of Judicial prayers that bring God’s Word to bear on the rebellious. And when that happens, they either have to turn or they will be removed. If they turn, it is because the plumbline of the Word has fallen on them. If they do not turn, the Word of the Lord will crush them. When we step into that Kingly anointing we are walking with Christ in this warfare. We can war against rebellious leaders by declaring over them the biblical sort of justice based on what they deserve. Reward them according to their works is a decree that we can declare! If they are violating Scripture, biblical justice will reward them accordingly. Walking with the King is walking with Jesus in Revelation. He is the King and He shows us how He wars. We are not left in the dark on this subject. If we war with Him, then we reverse the rebuke of Ezekiel. The church will no longer kill people who should not die and no longer keep people alive who should not live. Let’s walk with the King!
