Scripture: Acts 13:19-23

Acts 13:19-23 explains How Jesus comes from the seed of David. Jesus as the Savior is both a King and a Priest. When it comes to the Kingly Judicial side of Christ, we forget Jesus is called, “The Son of David”. Matthew 1:1 says, “The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:” because Jesus is more like David. David was a Priest-King. He was a worshiper. If we learn to think, pray and act like David, then the victories God intends will manifest. Revelation 22:16 says, ”I, Jesus have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star…” Jesus describes Himself as the Root and Fruit of David! Where is that fruit in us? If we want the fruit, we have to plant the seed!
